Janneke, thanks for your comments. Your answers totally help me make sense of your situation, and what Tillo is doing. I would be the same as you - the human might want the dog to get their points, but is it the best for the dog? In your situation, I certainly agree with your train of thought. I am a big Tillo fan, so naturally want him to do as well as he can in any show, but I can see how his behaviour could lead to worse things down the road if he learns that he can growl and get no reprimand for it. You are doing the best thing.

Our female dog goes into a limp larval stage, like she is boneless, legless larva. She even wiggles around like she is legless.

So cute!!!

I think she spends more time on her back then on her legs. She loves to eat too. Her weight/food intake has to be watched closely or she would look like Jabba the Basenji.

So that's what this behavior is called. Hollie does this all the time.

Yep! These pics are Duke every evening around bed-time. I'll try and get a picture. They all do look relaxed!

This is Savannah kicking it on the couch.

Ah the famous Budda pose. Sometimes I wonder how they can be comfortable sitting like that?
Love the hamster paws picture of Jack- Cute little bunny rabbit!
They just do it to hear all the silly human sounds we make, just like they do when they eat something disgusting.
