Our female dog goes into a limp larval stage, like she is boneless, legless larva. She even wiggles around like she is legless.

I think she spends more time on her back then on her legs. She loves to eat too. Her weight/food intake has to be watched closely or she would look like Jabba the Basenji.

They just do it to hear all the silly human sounds we make, just like they do when they eat something disgusting.
