Meet Ripley, Basenji #2 in our fam

We welcomed our first Basenji in February 2021 (Charlie’s pic is in member intros from last year), and it was time to get him a sister.

This is Ripley at 14 weeks. She is everything we hoped she would be helping our other Basenji adjust to life alone when working from home was no longer an option. She loves food, using her crate as a potty ( :confounded_face: ), and is extremely vocal (makes us laugh every time). We were so worried getting a second, but don’t regret it for an instant.

Name, rank and serial number ? (to paraphrase !) PLEASE tell us the registered names and those of parents. So many of us are related through our Basenjis and anyway, two such lovelies should be in the on-line pedigree database, with photos !

Ripley’s Houdini is Gone with the Wind 12/7/21 is our little girl.

Her pop is Reddy’s Ragnar and mom is Katie Scarlett O’Hara Witte.

@macattack Thank you for that ! I went to the AKC website and found her registration number and she has joined one other registered sibling in the on-line database ! She will appear this evening when I re-upload it all.

I will try to 'poach' the photo and add that too. Is Charlie, your other Basenji, in the d/b ? And if you can get hold of photos of the parents we can add those too. Just email me them privately - photos named with names of each dog.
