We were heading to southern Arizona but made a left turn instead and drove to North Carolina to meet Teki. We fell in love and took her home to Wisconsin but first spending another week camping along the way. She’s an excellent traveler and loves camping. We couldn’t have asked for a cuddly, mischievous, funny and independent sweetheart!!

Congratulations! Would comment more specifically but the image didn't make it. FYI the hit rate on uploading an image at first is roughly 0%. LOL Would love to see her!

Lots of people having trouble with photos it seems. One potential problem is that the file is too large. Downsizing may improve your luck.
-
Not sure why people have so much trouble. Just make the image a small size, do the normal <browse file> then upload.
Most iPhone and camera images have file sizes around 3000px. You need to go into your photo software (Adobe, Affinity, etc) and reduce the file size to around 200px or 300px at most. I post mine at about 200px.
The left hand box reads the upload in html code but the actual post will show the correct image. Remember, keep the file size small.
Please do this Chenke so that we can see your adorable pooch, Teki.

The "cheap & dirty" method that should work is to email the picture to yourself. Generally when you send a picture it gives you a choice of size. Small may be too small, but medium will likely fit the bill. Then save it from the email and you should be able to upload it. There are other ways, but that's likely the easiest.

What a beauty!!! She was definitely worth the detour!!!!! XOXOXO

Left, hard left! LOL
OMGosh! That's one heck of a commute for the little one! It's obvious you'll go to the ends of the earth for her!
Congrats!! -
Glad to finally see her! Love her expression.

Yeah for Teki! So cute. I'm sure you'll share lots of fun and hugs.

What a cutie pie!

@donc and mischief. She’s definitely a stinker! She was spayed 2 weeks ago and getting her staples out tomorrow. Sure was hard keeping this one quiet!
-
We laugh when the vet used to tell us to keep our male, Tim, quite, and resting. It would be like trying to use an umbrella in a hurricane!! Some are just natural born stinkers!! BUT isn't that the whole reason we love them so much??!!
-
Sounds like a good match beautiful pup!

Thanks everyone! I’m so happy to have found your forum!

@rgk9ruler it sure is!

@chenke - Interesting that they used staples, typically these days it is glued or dissolvable? I never really restricted movement after the first two days or so. If you don't use pain medication and let them feel the paid if doing too much, they will limit themselves.

Agree with tanza, it's not good to overdo pain meds. An animal that doesn't feel the warning signal is far more likely to cause themselves harm. We want to protect them from discomfort, but at times that is absolutely the wrong thing to do.
