    Take it REALLY REALLY slowly. Be sure to make good things happen when they are together and getting along. It took me 7 months to get my 4 yr old basenji rescue (who has a very high prey drive) to coexist with an old cat. If there is a bad experience, it can set everything back months, so be very careful to set up good experiences and avoid bad experiences.

    @DebraDownSouth: Okay that is pretty funny! Glad the judge passed her. Hey, perhaps the judge appreciated the intelligence to go check something out then resume business? Thanks everyone. She had really lovely runs all weekend (except Sunday's Std run) and I'm so very, very proud of her. She went through a fear(?) period on courses towards the beginning of the year, so she's come a long way. And, DDS, no, agility judges do not appreciate creativity on course. If you don't believe me, ask Jet the trying. :D Of course I always thought maybe the judge watching Jet would think "Gosh, that really is a nicer course."

    Endeavor, you represent the dangerous part of CM. People without a lot of experience don't see with the same eyes. He is actually borderline abusive, imho. He is dangerous to the dogs and to the audience. His techniques will eventually get someone killed and certainly dogs euthanized.     I am working with an APDT trainer, they are very expensive if you have them come to your house one on one, at least this one is. She is very good, but it is hard to get my girl who was abused to allow the woman inside. I have stopped having her here for the time being, and may pursue classes when I get my girl socialized better! Carol
