• The cosmos does what it needs to…. you were there for him, and maybe him for you?

  • @curlytails:

That sounds so horrible about his injury! But how lucky for this pup that he ended up in the hands of such a kind dog lover.

Maybe you can share pix after he is healed a bit. 🙂 And very interesting about the local name for mix strays, biralatas. I'm very curious about these kinds of regional terms and am accumulating a collection of names for street dogs in various locales…

Yeah, they are calles viralatas, Virar (to turn over) and latas( cans)' because they turn over the garbage cans to get food!!!

  • I'm so glad you were able to help him - maybe he won't be such a viralatas after this but a lame la mano (dont' know if I said that right - hand licker?) 🙂

  • I am so happy that you took in this little dog and gave him the attention he deserves. Thank you for being so kind hearted and doing what is best for him. I hope you can find him a very happy home.

  • Thank you for saving him… I wish you and him lots of luck so that you guys find him a forever home!

  • Thank you dmey. It's a shame that there aren't more people liike you.

I agree! That dog was lucky to have met you!

  • Thanks a lot everyone for the kind words.. I spoke to the vet on the phone and he is doing well. I will go visit him on the weekend and see how he is doing, wil take some pics to post!…..
Lame la Mano is right!!!!.. He was already doing a lot of that even with his wound!!!!

  • He knew you were there to help him and not inflict any more pain! I am glad the injury was not major and that he is healing well.
