Dolce is a sweetheart. Who knew when we named her that her name would so well describe her. Funny, some dogs are better behaved than many children, yet dogs are banned from most public establishments here in the USA.
Maya's Puppies
-
Hi There,
I've not been on here in ages as my laptop has now officially died so I have to use the internet at work - no basenji forums allowed there!
Anyway, most of you who are on FB will probably be aware that Maya has a litter, currently 6 weeks old. My first basenji litter and they are such perfect little people, the easiest pups i've ever had! I thought while I had 5 mins i'd share some photos from baby to recent Sorry if some of the photos are a bit big, im having trouble with my borrowed computer!!
You all remember Evie?

What a precious bunch
-
They are lovely, who is the sire?
-
I want the tri! Oh they all have such mischief in their eyes…...they are like what can I get in trouble with now and then worm out of because of my cuteness?
-
Sweet babies. Who is Dad? How is Maya? Good to see you back.
-
Looks like a very nice crop of bbabies. Which one/s are you keeping??
-
OH!!!! SOOO cute! What beautiful babies, and mama looks very proud!
-
All are sooo cute, but that little tri…what a pistol! Glad Maya and babies are doing so well.
-
awwe congrats.puppies are cute, hows Maya going being a mummy?
-
Oh wow how cute. What hit me is that coat colors are so funny. In chows, a nearly white pup will darken to cream and a cream goes to red. Basenjis go the opposite direction, lol.
My 2nd thought is your poor Chi– it is thinking they are already as big and going to be a LOT of trouble.

Maya has been a brilliant mum, absolutely adores her babies but wasnt OTT with them, she did fantastic. Popped all 4 out in under 2 hours as well!

I looked up dad's pedigree and he is related to my Franie!
