Cute puppy, interesting that his nose is still so pink? Usually even with that amount of white on the face it is more filled in… Were the rest of the litter like that?

And his nose has more pink than the others had, here are pics of the other two that I saw.Do you think there is a reason for this?
On the Tri, that is what I would have expected at this age. Interesting…..

Probably just genetics….it may fill in some as he matures, or it may stay more pink. It isn't related to nutrition or disease, if that is what you mean by reason.

I would agree with Quercus, it is most likely genetic, a trait not desired in the breed as the Basenjis standard says nose should be black but this would not be health related

The pink has a bit of cuteness and I'm sure that it'll eventually darken.
