    Hi Y'all. It has been a long while since we have posted here. Our old forum name was BittysDaddy. But that has changed, as you can see. About a month ago Liz, with BRAT, called and asked if we coiuld take a 3 yo red male to foster. She said he had been found walking along the side of a farm road in Kansas, about 35 miles from our home. He had been kept in the county shelter for the required 10 days but since no one had claimed him he was scheduled to be put down. To make a long story, short, we went to get him to foster, temporarily, and when we got him home , simply fell in love with him. He had to have come from a good home, as he is well behaved, totally house broken, and loves to play with the others in our roudy pack. We decided to call him Mr Ba Roo as he sounds off at every chance, and now after just 3 weeks he answers to it like he has been called that all his life. I do have one comment tho, has anyone out there ever seen a B with a totally red head, there is only one 2 inch white 'star' on the back of his neck. Thanks, Mr Ba Roo & Bitty's Dad

    One of the pups from the one litter that I bred had no white on her face, though she did have white on her chin.

    We have one of those toys, but it is chicken, not a fish, one of their faovites, no stuffing left in large parts of its body, but it still works like a charm..they love it. I am glad Buddy is back to jis normal spunky self after his ordeal that other week.. He is looking good..:D

    There could be a thread on the things we do to registered names– Sol's is 'Solid Gold' but I call him 'Solomon' because he's a deep thinker, or 'Solace' because he is a solace to me-- I like the 'Ruby' adaptation! Kris

    Hello, I have some ideas for your stains. Everything these ladies have been saying is correct. Hairspray definately works for ink stains, it has been tried and tested many times by myself. It works on all fabric types from synthetics to vinyls and all polycotton and cotton blends. Just spray your carpet (I like to over spray usually) and take some carpet cleaner and it should wash out. The Tide pen is a miracle in it's self, I too have recently discovered. Spot shot works really good on most stains, it used to be a household necessity until we got our Hoover Steam Cleaner. No pet owner should be without one!:D As far as the Basenji, good ol soap and water does the trick with some elbow grease! I am disgusted to say that my boyfriend one day decided he was going to give Tang a tatoo using a black sharpie marker. I got mad at him and took Metinga upstairs and washed her head until it came off. It did not take that long maybe about 10-15 min of washing and the white was good as new. I used a bit of dog shampoo as well.:D

    @JazzysMom: Well, it's a good thing we went straight to a breeder! I'd considered BRAT, but decided to get a puppy instead. Good thing, because with six kids at home and lots of other kids in and out, we'd have never gotten a dog! Sad isn't it….
