I took this picture yesterday of our Grande Dame … Paya. She is now 4 years old. She whelped a fabulous litter in October 2010; her first and our first. We are so proud of her. She was / is an exceptional mother. She also rules our entire pack.
Everytime I look at her, I see the Congo in her soul. She takes my breath away. I love her with every cell of my being.
Wow, what a wonderful face! Any chance of pics of her puppies? Please share!
She is lovely..I adore how you stated "Everytime I look at her, I see the Congo in her soul. She takes my breath away. I love her with every cell of my being."
Beautiful description of a lovely girl…
Beautiful picture - I can see why you love her, and refer to the Congo in her soul - her gaze is intent and distant at the same time - she radiates intelligence and the elegance of the Basenji.
Paya is exceptional looking. I can see why you are so proud of her.
Beautiful, beautiful Paya - I can see that like me, she is dreaming of Africa !!
Puppy pictures just updated at : http://lukurubasenjiconservateurs.com/lukuru_puppies
First picture, middle, pup on right. It would be a sacrifice, but if you really needed me to, I'd take that one. OMG what cuties.
