• I am looking forward the Parade of champions. Let's hope it outside! We did turn up at this show two years ago but it was indoors and space was very tight so we did not stop long.

2am in the morning! Poor Scott. We will set of at about 6.00am which is a little more civilised. Make it a large dram and I am sure you will not even notice the surroundings!:D

Good luck to all at Darlington and the club show, see you all at Brampton.

    Steve.

  • @Maya:

Good luck to all at Darlington, we're not doing that one this year.

We are at BCoGB, though i cant find my schedule! Anyone know where a downloadable one is??

    Hi Jess,

I think its paper copies only with the BCoGB. We (BOBA) have gone digital this year, I wish the others would. Let me know if you are desperate for a schedule and I will try to remember to bring it to work tomorrow and scan it to a PDF file.

If it's just some key detail you need I can put them in a post.

    Steve.

  • @JISGARD:

    2am in the morning!
    Steve.

Im my own worst enemy though - it will take us about 6.5 hrs to drive down(plus stops), but i am NEVER late for anything - always at least an hour early - so i suppose we could have an extra hour in bed - aint going to happen though!

Will be in a celebratory mood anyway - dont know if you remember i mentioned we were being made redundant - well a london broker we work closely with heard of what was happening, and has asked me and a colleague to open up their first Scottish office for them! So have been busy packing up files today - open up the new office on Monday. Tilly can rest easily now.

    Thanks Steve!

Just start time and address & post code would be brilliant so we get to the right place, on time ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I am exactly the same and end up stringing out journeys with frequent stops so we do not get there ridiculously early.

Yes I do remember you mentioning your job situation and we were keeping our fingers crossed for you. Congratulations regarding the new job!!! We are so pleased for you,:D it must be a huge weight lifted. I am a Local Government Officer so I expect I will be facing the same in the future. The Government are talking about slashing and burning regarding public finances! It would be terrible to be forced to stop showing because of redundancy.

    See Saturday.

    Steve.

Glad you are ok on the job front must have been a scary.

I'm dreading the job hunting thing when I move back to Perth:( I have been offered the chance of working where I did before I moved away but will be in a lower position than I was, so will be working under people that I use to be above, don't think i' can do it.

  • @Elscodobermann:

Theresa are you mad!!? Any further than a 4 hour drive each way and we always stay over - even with shared driving i find it a bit much. See you down there, and best of luck to everybody.

yes we are mad, but as Brian drives for a living, he's quite able to cope for a special show. Wouldn't want to do it very often though.

    Theresa

  • @moetmum:

Theresa you are going to have to come and say hello to me, I must see what this crazy woman looks like!

If I go to Scotland I stay two nights!

    See you all there!

    Moetmum,

I will try to get over to say hello to you if someone directs me. Still know very few folk.

    Theresa

In addition to Steves info, you will need to bring something to stand your crate on, mat or blanket or something as we are not allowed to put them directly onto the floor!

  • Thanks all!

Think we're sorted! Hopefully see you all there ๐Ÿ™‚

  • How did everyone do yesterday then??

  • We did really badly, last in our two classes. The main placings are on Sallyโ€™s web Site.

I sure the others will let you know how they got on, but well done Theresa re 1st Junior Dog with Milo, Julie 1st Minor Puppy Bitch with Tegan, Jess 1st Junior Bitch & Post Grad with Maya.

    That's a pity Steve:(

    Well done to the others:D

  • Sorry I forgot Scott 1st Limit Bitch with Tilly. Well done!

Sorry I forgot Scott 1st Limit Bitch with Tilly. Well done!

    Well done Scott and Tilly:D

Seems like forum members have had a good day then:D

  • Well done to all the other winners as well. Tilly won 1st Limit bitch and 1st Not Bred By Exh - so we have won enough food for a few months.

It was a great day i thought, the weather stayed just perfect - and i enjoyed the parade of champions - it was good to see some of the dogs i have only seen in pedigrees. Does anyone know how the elderly gentlemen who took ill (think it was Monty Bowers) was - did he get taken to hospital?

  • Oh no I hope Monty is ok:(

  • @basi:

Oh no I hope Monty is ok:(

Monty was taken to hospital, I was told he seemed a little better by the time they got him there, I haven't heard any more since as I have been at work today.

  • We had a lovely day. Managed to speak to some more folks from the forum at last! It was a lovely day. A shame about the gent who took ill, haven't any idea how he got on.
Thanks to everyone who made us feel welcome. Steve it was nice to say hello, Poppy is lovely no matter what the results were yesterday. Well done to everyone else.

    Theresa
