OMG - another poop story

    Several days ago I had given EL D a bully stick that he had been chewing on for several days and was now only about 4 maybe 41/2 inches long. As I was cleaning up the yard I kept my eye on him because I didn't want him to bury it in my flower beds nor did I want him to get stuck on it. After a bit, I noticed he was no longer chewing and I assumed he had buried it in the flower beds though I couldn't really find any new holes.
    Yesterday we were in the yard enjoying an exceptionally warm day and I was going around and cleaning up his droppings when what did I find – yes :eek: indeed -- I found this one big pooplog with the whole bully stick in it! I can't believe it passed through his system like that without causing problems. OMG!

    With Zip the last bit of bully stick usually comes back up the other end if she manages to swallow it and I don't catch it in time. I have definitely dealt with more dog throw-up than I anticipated. I was ready for the poo, haha.

    HA ha! That is so funny! When Foster was a puppy he used to eat whole pecans that had dropped out of the tree in the backyard and then the next day he'd walk around for ten minutes trying to poop the whole thing out! He learned pretty quick not to eat them!!

    i lived in ct for years recently moved out to dc area, comin to ct for 2 weeks in august if anyone wants to meet up i have 2 basenjis but one is sick and at the vet right now had first seizures today at almost 8 yrs old i pray to god she will be ok.

    My husband and I went to a Rays baseball game several weeks ago where he actually caught a foul ball! Well we brought the ball home and he was so proud (never caught a ball before) but guess who has had her eyes on it since it came into the house. You guessed it little Ms. Trixie. He had it showing our kids and she actually jumped up onto his lap and tried to take it. We of course have since went out and bought her (I know spoiled rotten) her own baseball and she loves it!

    Indi has been teething and he actually likes to CARRY his teeth around. He will make the teething face (kind of like hes tasted something bitter and is smacking his lips with his toung sticking out) finally get it out and spend the rest of his time picking it up, carrying it about 5 ft and spitting it out. Then if no one notices he will continue doing this untill we take it away. Its wierd, really wierd but when he is holding it you see his best show dog prance while he is walking around.

    @wizard: EL D really only gets "into trouble" when he wants my attention. Then he'll grab whatever (and I do mean whatever) is close at hand/mouth and parade it past me before running away like hell. :D Oh yes, Trixie brings me things all the time that she knows she is not supposed to have!!! Its a big game between her and I. A tad bit frustrating at times lol! She also follows me from room to room watching my every move. Especially when I am cleaning or putting things away. New cupboard doors to snoop around in I suppose. They are such curious dogs. My other girl dog Josie could care less what I am doing. She just wants her food, water and her everyday petting from me.
