Hello everyone and thanks for the nice greeting. I am sharing this message board with my husband.
Once I figure out how to post a picture, I'll send one.
We adopted Sophie from Happy Tails - a local shelter. She was picked up by a man who found her abandoned in a field near his neighborhood. He had her for 5 weeks and began the process of crate, house and leash training. We are doing our best to get her acclimated to our home, while training her too.
She's definintely energetic!

Yes, I live two miles south of the NC state line. In less than an hour I can drive in GA, TN, and NC. I love it here.

My Eski LOVED toilet paper. I have the habit of keeping it out of reach, so our Basenji boy never has gotten a chance w/ it!
So, from a former Eski owner, welcome to Basenjiville!! You are gonna LOVE it here!
My Eski is 13 years old. I found him hiding in the shower last night he was so tired of the little Basenji! Eski's are so sensitive and like their peace and quiet.
