I trim tails, whiskers. I do chalk then finish with a shine spray or wipe.

I might be late in the game, here. But have you seen this video? I like that they make a nod to Basenji naughtiness! http://www.tvsquad.com/2011/02/15/basenji-the-135th-westminster-kennel-club-dog-shot-video/

@irena: Yes it is Jenson's granddaughter :D. Actually I don't know why he got VG, he was nice judgement and there weren't written nothing so bad….. whooppieeee it means to me that Jenson really inherited very very very well!! I am very pleased with that, means he is worthy as a stud! I hate critiques like that, sometimes it really makes no sense :-(

Very odd… as the judges here int he PNW shows were Bill Potter and Eric Liebes. And none of those dogs were in the ring, except "Arrow" CH Emerant's The Navigator (as a specials dog The super was Onofrio and show results are up at www.onofrio.com for the Timberland Valley shows.

I agree with everything that Pat, Lisa and Robyn have said in this thread (oh, and you too BBoy!). For the most part, I think it is fair competition at least at the Winners Level..and to some extent the BOB level. Where it gets frustrating is when you have someone in your area that consistantly has very nice dogs AND is well known by the judges…feels like you can't win then unless you have a stupendously great dog.
