I need a puppy sitter…..

I'm going away for a destination wedding from November 12th thru the 17th. I need someone with a Basenji and the knowledge of a Basenji to take care of my pup while I'm gone. I'm just not feeling the love of a professional pet sitter or boarding him at a "doggie hotel." Any suggestions or takers?

Although I will have school during that time, I would be willing to pet sit for another basenji. I have been considering getting a friend for my basenji once he gets past his teenager period so experience sitting for another one would be helpful. The only thing would be that I would need to pet sit for your guy in my home and I live in New Bedford Mass which is probably about 5 hours from you. If you'd be willing to meet halfway (and if your guy travels well), then maybe I could help out.
I am a bit far away and me pet sitting for Mick might be more of a pain getting him here than a help for you. If you can't however find anyone closer, then let me know. shoconnor@hotmail.com

Pet sitters at home are good…but we have a place where dogs have like a kennel, doggie day care type of place, and its a great area to have your put learn about other dogs, other people and help him get socialized.
I don't know if you have something like that, but check around your areas, they are bonded, have secure areas for the dogs to play and run, etc... -

My husband's cousin has offered to take our B and he has another dog which would help.
