Okay, so I was out walking Tucker the other night and all of the sudden, like B's do, he takes off hopping off the ground like a snake has bit his foot. I mean he went BALLISTIC!
So I move in to see what's going on and Tuck starts to walk normal but is kinda staying off of one of his paws. I reel him in and inspect. There is a leaf stuck to his foot. I giggled and went to remove the leaf… Guess WHY it was stuck to his foot?
Apparently, Tuck had stepped into some other neighbor's dog's pile of poop (that they rudely didn't clean up, which I could rant about all day here, but I'll refrain...) and then stepped on the offensive leaf. Apparently, the leaf was 'gonne get him!' so he takes off hopping around like he's being killed from the foot up.
Naturally, while taking the leaf off of his foot, and laughing at him, unaware that his pad is caked with poop...I get it all over my hand.
I guess he had the last laugh.
What really has me wondering is WHY he stepped in poop in the first place. One would think he would know better... Sheesh, can't they smell poop from miles and miles away? Maybe he did it intentionally... Hmmm....
