@rgk9ruler thank you! I can definitely see some similarities between this breed and my Cotilla 😊 and I could see him hunting squirrels, he loves running after insects and birds.

After play, fighting, B-500's, getting into just about everything!!! At the end of the night we are always saying Their so peaceful and sweet!!! and they are. Great photos once again.

You are quite the photographer, you and your hubby. I like how you can see their shadow behind them in the 2nd one, but I love the heart shape also, you know that is a trait of Basenjis, they like to sleep that way.

I went back to the thread page and clicked on the pic of Miles and Lexi, the one with Miles standing, and Lexi laying in front, well check out the difference of the ears in that pic and the one on this thread, Oh my Gosh!!!!!! So today was Lexi's birthday… And because Miles's history is a mystery, we decided that he will celebrate his Barroooo day with Lexi on April 9th. Today Lexi was 6 and we say Miles is 8. For their birthday, hubby took the kids to Great Falls to go hiking. I think they enjoyed it; what do you think??

And it looks like your hubby uses the coupler. Do they walk well together?? -
Sometimes they walk well together.
The coupler works well if we're on a trail or jogging.
If we take them out just to do "business", it's a disaster- they have too much time to sniff and end up pulling each other in every direction possible!!
But otherwise, yes, it's a great gadget for us! -

I think it's more that we know our dogs well enough to know when they'll stay with us and when we know they could run into a dangerous situation. We don't let them off every where… just places we feel they will stick with us and where they have to possibility of getting hit by a car.

So Daddy left yesterday for a business trip… which usually means the kids think the teacher's left the room.
So I'm in the shower and I hear this bumping around. I peek my head out only to find Miles has ingeniously propped the bathroom trash can open with the empty toilet paper roll he found inside. He's having a free-for-all with the contents and the more I scold him, the faster he runs!! Little devil! He ears turned back like horns as he knew he was up to no good!! Shame on him! I swear, Daddy goes away and he turns into a Gremlin!
Took the kids on a run when we got home on the splitter; they actually did pretty well. Hopefully Miles will be too tired to get into the trash the rest of the night!!
