Like @tanza, I have sold puppies into apartment environments as long as all other boxes ticked positive. Someone there all the time, proper attention to training, not just leaving the dog alone, especially not as a puppy. btw, he won't bark at all. As you would know if you had really researched the breed. He will cry and scream but not bark ! No. At least you are asking questions but I really think you should find another breed.

    @melduff I for one think this is FANTASTIC news! You guys are so lucky! You have a one of kind super dog with the papers to prove it. Walks around the neighborhood and trips to the dog park are going to be very much fun... Friendly neighbor: Oh, she's so cute! What kind of dog is she? You: Thanks you so much.     I can leave mine loose in the car as long as there is more than one -the only time I've had damage (which included seat belts!) is when one's been left on their own. I would never leave the car running though and I always leave it in gear (I don't have internal locking either).

    Thanks to everyone for the great suggestions! I read about the poo in the console too, yucky! There will be 4 of us and the 2 dogs, so hopefully we can keep them out of trouble. :eek:

    I have found that if I take my B to doggie daycare (even if it's only for half a day), she is ehausted when I bring her home. She will let me do the dishes without any basenji help! She also tends to treat our doggie friends a little nicer when they come around. Having a worn out basenji is deifinitely worth the $15!!

    I like Adams flea shampoo. It kills the buggers and leaves the animals hair soft. Haven't used it on my Basenji though, as we just haven't had fleas here for a few years.
