    @jengosmonkey - NuHeart only does Heartworm, Heartguard Plus has meds for roundworms & hookworm. And people that give heartworm for 6 months are typically people that live in climates that have a cold winter, ie: when the ground freezes. We do not have that in this part of No. California so I give it year round.

    If you don't trust the vets you are seeing, please get her to a university vet for a second opinion. Have you talked to any of the other owners of the litter, or is she a rescue? When kennel cough is really bad, it can take months to clear up and the cough go away. She could also have allergies affecting her at night.. where does she sleep? Can you change where she sleeps to see if it's better?

    I would suggest putting some A&D Ointment on it. Medjai had a problem with a rash type thing between his legs for over a year before I tried A&D and now it's gone. I've had him on good food, and tried different things from the vet and nothing worked until now.

    Just putting it out there…check with your car or homeowners company. They may offer it but not really advertise and you might get a break on price if you are already a client. I've seen commercials for Progressive auto that says that they automatically insure your pet as part of the auto policy. Don't know any details, just a commercial I've seen.

    Sounds like the same thing I experienced. Looked like hot spots but turned out to be yeast. My biggest problem with Snork, other than the ears, was between the hind legs near the sac tissue and in front of the penis on the tummy. Also had some major breakouts under/near the elbows. Those folded ears can be a problem!! Once you get them cleared up and dried out, maintenance is easy.
