but the mountains are not "ours". That was a photo taken on vacation in the Smokeys. We live in Washington, though, and do have plenty of gorgeous mountains to enjoy also!</grin>
While I-70 and I-75 seem to be the major cross-roads in my neck of the woods, I rarely get up that way. However, if you ever find yourself on I-675, I could wave to you from the bridge near my house:)
"Shiny Hiney" …LOL..I'll remember that.:)
I love Chicago…most truckers think I'm a kook for having that opinion, but I've been known to go 75 miles out of my way just to sit in Chicago traffic. :D
There's a certain energy in Chicago I can't find anywhere else in the world. And yes, that says a lot...I've been in major cities from Tokyo to Prague (Praha) to Munich to Seoul as well as amost every major city in the US. There's just something about Chicago.
@Natalplum:
You both are in my thoughts. I hope your DH comes home safe and healthy. You will NEVER be lonely with your B's around. They are the best to call on for some love and comfort.
Not to mention a lot of laughs! That's the best thing having a B brought into my life. I was so depressed, and then along came a B to make me laugh again. Worth their weight in gold, for sure….
What is it with MILs and chain forwards? I really have no interest in any of them, but DHs mom keeps sending them. DH's stepmother actually never emails us a letter….only forwards......sometimes 4 or 5 a day.
