  • Hi , welcome to the forum.
    Alfie looks great

  • Welcome to the forum. Where did you get Alfie? He's a very handsome boy.

  • First Basenji's

Yes, welcome to the forum. Alfie sure is a handsome guy! Looks like a shot from a commercial! Beautiful country! And from the looks of his back, he sure sees something exciting!

  • Nice photo… It's that Basenji look as he is ready to take out a squirrel or maybe a bird. Good looking dog!!
    Is Alfie your only dog?
    Enjoy...

Thank you, yes it's home. not as glamorous as your neck of the woods though and pretty wet at the moment so as you can imagine, Alfie is not impressed!

Thank you, he is handsome…...problem is he knows it and swaggers round like he owns the joint!

Thank you, I got him from a breeder in Congleton, Nr Manchester. Malcolm & Phyl, you probably know them? Lovely people.

  • Yes, know them very well.

  • Alfie is one darn good looking dude at just 5 months! I like your comments about "swaggers round like he owns the joint" and "I don't think I could handle two Alfies". We've decided to stick with just one basenji and give him all our love, and it sounds like you are doing. Do you plan on showing him or doing any agility or luring with him?
