• ROFLMAO, how utterly delightful! Hey, tell your husband suck it up. My 90 pound rottie used to lay on my husband. He let her as a pup, I warned him and warned him. He'd yell "DEBRA, get her off me I can't move." Nope, not my problem, lol.

    Really wonderful pics.

  • LOL! Joe's just part of the couch. Before he lays on that he has a checklist.

    1. Gone to the bathroom? check
    2. Eaten sufficiently? check
    3. Any good programs on TV? check
    4. Lisa has no urgent chores to be done? check

  • Such adorable photos, full of love. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Um, not to be negative, but you may be optimistic there… for MOST of our husbands, I suspect it would be "Lisa HAS chores to be done." 🙂

    I'm just saying.

  • those are great pix!

  • First Basenji's

Well, I guess he has a pretty good excuse for not getting up to give you a hand with anything that needs doin'… 🙂

At my house a valid excuse for not getting up is, "But I'd have to disturb the dog."

  • I give Joe the daily to do list, sometimes things get done, sometimes the dogs get cuddled

  • Wow, this is great…what a great heater for the dogs!

  • Or a heater for the human!!!

  • The dogs sure have Joe where they want him. Is Joe thinking 'I know my place'!?

My husband is delighted that Shaye's and Gemma's favorite place to take a nap while we are watching TV is on his lap. Sometimes it works, sometimes Shaye won't let Gemma up there. But the deal is - when a snack is called for, or my husband's thirsty or the phone rings, someone's at the door, whatever, his constant cry is "But I have DOL!" which, of course is "dog on lap" so it falls to me to get up and tend to everything. Grrrrrrrr. Occasionally, Gemma will sit on my lap when Shaye is snarky with her - then, of course, I have the larger DOL, so he has to get up. It's a game with us. I usually lose.:p
