@prncmuhd said in Grain free food: Top Dog Accessories 2019 Shame on you! If you had half a brain, you would have discussed legitimate issues with grain free food and then offered a link to a good option. Spam is never the way to get people to buy your products.

We feed raw meat (deep frozen) and like that a lot (our 2 sisters do, too!). Some vegetables too, like broccoli, cabbage, red beet, carrot, and the like. Both cooked and raw. We only bath them when they have rolled in something stinking, like a dead bird or so. When wet or muddy, we give them a rub with an old towel - they do the rest.

I slice it and then cube it. Each cube ends up being no bigger than about a pea. I then have storage container that I put it in and keep it in the refrigerator. The great thing about it is that I can easily break the cube into even smaller pieces while I am working the dogs so they last the entire training class without really overfeeding the dogs.

My Hollie girl eats from the bowl sometimes and sometimes she takes a few minutes to another room. She constantly "hides" her dogfood, in corners, under a doormat, under my bed pillows, etc. I don't know if this is something that all basenjis do, or if it is because she had been a stray when I adopted her. Either way, she is certainly entertaining.
