    We feed raw meat (deep frozen) and like that a lot (our 2 sisters do, too!). Some vegetables too, like broccoli, cabbage, red beet, carrot, and the like. Both cooked and raw. We only bath them when they have rolled in something stinking, like a dead bird or so. When wet or muddy, we give them a rub with an old towel - they do the rest.

    Not quite on topic, but if you ever experience problems with your dog's digestion just after opening a new bag of dry food, be suspicious. It is definitely possible to get a "bad" bag of food. If you have multiple dogs, this problem is easier to be aware of. A friend got blindsided when a new shipment of feed for her goats pretty much wiped out the whole herd because of a mistake in formulation. This can happen with dog food too!! It is one of the first questions an astute vet will ask with an unexplained digestive upset.

    I just bought Bella some Merricks Grammy's Pot Pie (dry). It sounds so good I'm tempted to give it a try, LOL!!! I haven't given it to her yet, I'm trying to time it out so I can introduce it slowly… I had to get it at a feed & seed supply store. It IS sad that people are uneducated about the differences of dog foods… but what is worse is that some of these companies don't care how bad the food is for our pets. Another example of how money is more important in their pocket... BTW, for treats we like Old Mother Hubbard!!!:D

    Neither of mine will catch food, it hits them in the face and falls to the floor too. They're both pretty good at catching toys when I tell them to but do get bored with that game rather qiuckly.
