    My first B, Shaka came to us 15 years ago today (Ides of March) and left us on 3/21/08 (on Good Friday) - this made me realize that his littermate brother (who we got 3 months after) , Yoda is actually 15 years old (and not 14 as I had thought)! He's still pretty energetic and looks young, but now I'm more concerned. Extra treats for him! ;-)

    Just keep doing what you have been doing… a 15 year old basenji is a testament to the care their owner is giving them. But yes, extra treats and kisses are a must!

    The end of the tail bothers me, and the 2 cat heads on top just add clutter. It is a very happy artwork for sure, just doesn't inspire me to want to own it.

    @Knipper: That's cute! Cricket does not subscribe to the slow stealthy approach. It's all about as much destruction as possible in the shortest amount of time while I'm indisposed. Everything is done in fast forward! Kalani waits until my back is turned and the second it is he gets into mischief. As soon as I look at him he freezes with the thought of either "if I don't move he can't see me" or "what, I wasn't doing anything". I'm not sure which, but it is one of them.

    @tanza: I am glad that you went to Midge…. I am too actually. I have been so incredibly pleased with Dallas. He is such a great basenji :) Plus I know Midge is there if I have any problems, I was a bit worried in that respect about Dee since it seems she breeds a lot & does it as more of a business.

    EL D is almost 4 and his neck is 14. My Vet carries a toothpaste made by C.E.T. that comes in chicken or seafood flavor. It supposed to be better for tartar control.

    @Basenji_Boy: I was basing my assumptions on what the wife calls me on occasion. Emily Latella….....never mind.:D Yep, I know the one…he gets called that one too!:rolleyes: ;)
