They look so happy! I love watching basenjis (and all dogs) run and play.

They ARE happy, a flat with a basenji, nothing can go wrong then. ;)

So much fun and a really nice area for them to run in. What kind of dog is a 'flat'? Does he/she ever let your basenji be out in front (like playing 'tag')?

Flat coated retriever. :) He is very nice to little Kamar. He runs to the right and left so Kamar can keep up with him in terrain like that. Then he also will slow down so Kamar can run after him. But in an open area, it's Kamar that run up front, and the flattie behind. ;)

Looks like they had a great run! I had Buddy off leash up in the hills Saturday and we ran in this lady walking with 4 Salukis off leash. They were calmly walking until we showed up and Buddy had to run right into the middle of them and they all took off running and disappeared into the woods. She got a bit frantic calling/whistling. They finally showed up bolting right by us to disappear again. I apologized to her for Buddy stirring things up. :p
