Really I was joking about you breaking on them… but I did want you to know stable Rotties are very tolerant of small dogs. :) On digging out... I am investing a fortune in stupid river rocks to line my fence. :(

Patty, I think the whole process re these africans is a time consuming and worth it. It takes a lot of $$ to go to Africa. Lots of $$ to get the dogs back here and vetted. Its a long process, but will be worth it when we have new genes to add to the b's lines. Very exciting time for us all. Thanks Patty for your interest. Hugs my unmet friend.

They are special..I am hopeful they can help the breed, but if they aren't accepted, they will be very well loved by us humans who have fallen under their spell… Thanks for your post.

Well, your UNCLE Dude and Ono sure are lovely show dogs as well. She is very good in the crate Fran, and as the weather is getting nice, spending a lot of time outside in the sun, when she can find it! Yes, its wonderful to see how all these imports are going to help b's…

@Patty: I have had hernias disappear with manipulation but I wonder if they might have closed any way. I'd never know. As I posted before, there's no real problem as its unusual for these hernias to cause troubles. I'm sure Elaine willl confirm this. Yes, I too have had a bitch operated on as the opening had started to close when she was 12 years old. It was a very simple op and once the stitches had gone you wouldn't know there had been anything there!! The UK KC frowns on these ops now. Helena, i am aware the KC frown on these ops and isn't it wrong. It could encourage people to not have things fixed . Why on earth should an op like this prevent a Dog from being shown, it's madness. For me the Dogs health would always come first , but i still think they're wrong. Whoops sorry to rant:o
