More basenjis coursing

Very nice shots of the full gallop!

I love these coursing photos. Being a past photographic nut, can you tell me what camera you took these with, and what lens? I assume you are panning the camera while taking these, because the background shows movement, but the dogs are captured totally in focus. Great work - and the dogs look like they had a wonderful, happy time.

Thank you for your kind post. We use a Canon 450D (Digital Rebel XSi) with a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L USM Lens.
And all the dogs and owners enjoyed it very much

you always do such an amazing job.. I have such photo envy!
-
I love the look of joy on their faces.

Great shots, the dogs are obviously have a wonderful time! And from the looks of it, dogs won at least once (with a lure in their mouths!)

Wow, amazingly happy running basenjis. Great pictures as always. I have that very same camera…but my pictures never look like yours .....Petra error, I guess.
-
Also great pics!!!
Puppy was way too cute

Fantastic shots, don't think we have lure coursing in England.

As always, beautiful pictures. Rebel is a respectable camera. I have a pro photographer friend who uses one in conjunction with a 1-DS Mark III for her weddings.
Bendji is gorgeous! Love the muscle tone and classically styled ears.

psst…it is the photographer and the lens (you don't get better than the L lens that Janneke uses - and I'm jealous of that lens) rarely the camera. Always better to put the money to glass. Once the skill & the glass work together, then upgrade the camera. BTW, I'd say clearly that Janneke is a fantastic photographer.

Yes, we do, they do it on the greyhound race tracks My friend does it with his afghan, i'd love to have a go with Maya sometime!
