Please share this with your animal loving friends.
    This is just too much.

  • Thank you for sharing this with me.

  • Thanks for the post Sharron and the link agileb. I signed, posted, and will spread the word. D.

  • Thank you. I know these dogs aren't b's…but I would hope that if they were, the Pit folks would help us!
This guy...wow, bad news just doesn't cover his crimes.

  • Here's a response:

Thank you for contacting Bally Total Fitness.

Bally Total Fitness shares your concern regarding advertising on "The Michael Vick Project" and we have blocked all future advertising during this program. We never intended to support this show and any Bally Total Fitness commercial seen during this programming was not placed in support of this program. Advertising is placed on the BET network to air during a broad rotation of hours based upon audience criteria. As a result, the Bally Total Fitness advertisement was broadcast during this program.

  • i got the same response from Nivea. I am impressed I got a message that didn't seem canned. I may buy Nivea now. What do they sell?

  • I signed and emailed most of the companies still keeping their crap up..

  • Nivea is a skin cream, I think…
I am sorry that the sponsors are responding properly.

  • I got this reply from Loreal today

Thank you for taking the time to contact us regarding the Michael Vick Project on BET.

Due to last minute programming changes, BET inadvertently aired a L'Or?al commercial without our knowledge.

We would like you to know that we have taken the necessary steps to ensure that our advertising does not appear on this program again.

The opinions of our customers are very important to us. Thanks again for contacting us with your concern.

    Best wishes,

Please, if you have not, do post to them.
See below what I recieved from Denny's

    Subject: Response From Denny's

    Dear Mrs. Sharron Hurlbut,

Thank you so much for providing your thoughts regarding the airing of a Denny's commercial during the BET program "The Michael Vick Project". As a way to effectively communicate with our customers across the nation Denny's advertises during many Television programs. “The Michael Vick Project” was not an authorized part of the BET advertising buy and was inadvertently put into the rotation. Because of concerned guests such as of yourself, this situation has been addressed and “The Michael Vick Project” will not be part of our future advertising schedule.

    Thank you,

    Denny's Customer Service

    Dear Sharron,
Thank you for your feedback. One of our spots mistakenly aired during the Michael Vick show a few weeks ago. Upon notification that the spot did run, we contacted the BET Network and requested that it be immediately removed from this program moving forward. We do appreciate you taking time to notify us of the issue.
    We appreciate your business!

So, I guess I couldn't have seen you in my recent trip throught the city of flying pigs (for those unaware, there is one). Two hours of stop and go southbound, trying to get to the airport. I was in the backseat and looked at every truck on the off chance there might be an AJ sighting. Obviously, no luck, as you were a few time zones away :) Had I seen AJ, I might have jumped out of the car I was in and jumped into your truck for a couple of miles…just to say 'Hi'...that's how slow going it was. My advise, for north or southbound, take the by-pass...but what do I know? There were plenty of trucks willing to wade through the traffic.

@Basenjimamma: …Oh, I want one of those generators too..they are just so darn expensive..We need them down here too, if we have a storm, our neighborhood of 25 or so homes are one of the last on the list to get our power back..it sucks.. We do have a generator that is large enough to either run the fridge and a few lamps, OR our waterpump..so you have to pick your battles when the electricity goes.. Yeah, see my problem is I want the whole house automatically on when the power goes out - gone are the days when I find it an adventure! As it is, I've compromised and were only doing the first floor (including all kitchen, laundry, office, bedrooms, bath, basement - furnace, well/water) and the only thing on the 2nd floor will be the bathroom. During the ice storm last winter we lost power for 4 days. During the ice storm of 98 (?) we lost power for 17days - CNN was filming right in front of our house.

We were in Ohio when I wrote it. Ohio was admitted to the Union on March 1, 1803, but Congress apparently forgot to vote on the resolution. It was finally rectified on August 7, 1953, which technically makes Ohio the 47th state. However, it is counted as the 17th because it wasn't Ohioans who created the problem. Who says our Federal government isn't efficient? Zanesville, OH is the location of the Y Bridge, which starts and ends on the same side of the river. But that's where we were. The wolverine is the official state animal and nickname of the state. Fur trappers from Canada brought pelts across the state and folks further south assumed (there's that word again) the pelts were trapped in Michigan. The Detroit Red Wings assembled the Russian Five, who propelled the Hockey team to the Stanley Cup in 1997. Within a few days of the win, one of the team members was permanently benched in an auto accident, but the remaining four were instrumental in the 1998 and 2002 Stanley Cup wins for the Red Wings. We will be in Grand Rapids, MI tomorrow morning. Ms. Basenjimamma: The temperature here right now is 51F. :)

@Maya: If you're living in Holland, you need a Friesian!!! :D I have the most wonderful friesian, her temperment is amazing. She's not even 3 yet but she is just so sweet and gentle!! But, do keep us updated. I've had horses since i was 3 and they are a huge part of my life. I couldnt be without them even though im not as involved in the horse world as i once was!! P.S. I have some photos from a show over here in the UK with shires in their traditional plaits and tack if anyone is interested in seeing them. Its just amazing!! Yes!! I love to see the pictures!!! I like the Friesian horses but it's not a breed wich can used for lots of things, they are to special i think :D I like the Friesian for shows and as a barouche horse (is it a good word?) I once ride a Friesian and it's different with riding a normal or western horse. They make larger steps and it's very comfortable riding! A friend of us breeds the Friesian :D @moetmum: That sounds exciting, hope it all goes to plan. Our neighbouring farmer used to breed shire horses, they don't breed now but still have loads of horses. They go to loads of shows, they were sponsored by a local brewery. The horses are fascinated by the basenjis, and always want to come and have a look! the b's aren't keen when they snort at them though. I have never heard of a horse milking farm before!! Wow!!! If it was a little bit near Holland, I really would come over to met you and take a look at the shires next door :D:D We're don't going to live in Holland :D In Germany they have also some very nice breeds Hannoveraan, holsteiner (i don't know the english names…0

Actually - I posted it on the Podengo group - lots of members in the area and looks like might be something from one of the hunt packs (or a golden GSD mix) Maybe one of them will bite.
