Yah she has learned to ring the poochie bells only if she knows the other dogs that live upstairs are outside.. makes me laugh cause she doesn't do it any other time hahha
Dolce Starts Lure Coursing!
-
Last weekend we took Dolce to her first ever lure coursing event. Needless to say we were very nervous that should might stop half way or not chase the lure at all. On her first single run she took off like a bat out of you know what and followed the lure over the entire course. She took one more practice run and did so well we decided to try to certify her that evening along with another a B. She passed with flying colors and we entered her in the open class for the next day's event. The next day she did very well staying on the lure and did not bother the other dog during either run and she had a blast! We were very proud Basenji parents!

Congrats! Dolce looks like she enjoyed herself too. That she can run without bothering the other dog is a real plus. Buddy ran half way on a trial run the first time then stopped and just strolled over to me.

Well done Dolce. She looks as though she was born to it.
