Congrats! Dolce looks like she enjoyed herself too. That she can run without bothering the other dog is a real plus. Buddy ran half way on a trial run the first time then stopped and just strolled over to me.
@Elysium:
Looks like fun :D
Sorry - just saw it now :)
We had our first lure coursing training last month at Tuettleben.
I also have a video of Thabo, but didn't put it on youtube, yet.
btw:
Tomorrow is the last day to register for the track-race at Huenstetten… ;)
I already sent the entry form to Noel! We'll arrive on Sat, hopefully just on time for the sweepstakes! :)
@thunderbird8588:
Fantastic shots, don't think we have lure coursing in England.
Yes, we do, they do it on the greyhound race tracks :D My friend does it with his afghan, i'd love to have a go with Maya sometime!
@Janneke:
I've recently heared that the Dutch Basenji Club bought a lure coursing machine. Now they only need to organise some events…... (and find a field etc..)
yes they bought one, but have no field , so what is the use of that? they say they are not depending on third parties anymore but that is not truth since they still dont have their own field :confused::D
so it is still more easy to train with the allready existing coursingclubs ( like Leek )
p.s.: when can i see all the nice pictures of the coursing that Job made? :-)
