Today was the first day of school for my daughter and I had the day off, yeah!!!. So the dogs got their first long walk since school let out. I mean 2 hours of "our" time. Now Chief for the last month has started lifting his leg to pee which is fine but today I was working on keeping Zoey calm in the face of a squirrel and I feel my sandal is wet. I look down and that little B chief had lifted his leg on me and I had missed the whole thing. Ok I figure I will catch him at it the next time and give him a firm NO. But I didn't figure that next time would be during that same walk. But I did catch him before he wet me again. Well walking back after another distraction with Zoe my sandal feels wet again at some point he had done it again! God Bless America!!! I cant believe he did this! lol I will have to be more aware so I can catch him and correct him but I swear he only tries it when I'm distracted with zoe.

Hmmm, he must be pissed off at you. No pun intended. I can't think of why a dog would pee on someone unless they smell another dog on them and they want to mark the person's leg like a tree.

Been there, had that…. there are stories galore about boy dogs peeing on the owners and/or handlers at dog shows.... My favorite story is Teri Gavaletz the day she finished Tuffy.... just as they were going in for the win and new champion picture he peed all down her pants leg!

I have had several boys pee on me or Don…better than on a total stranger (been there too). What a scoundrel Chief is!

See my (unhelpful) thought was, "Awww, isn't that nice. He loves you and wants everyone to know you are his."
told you it was unhelpful.

Well he must love the pole too because he hits it almost every walk lol. Its really comforting to know he loves me at least as much as a pole :)

That picture is really really nice - beautiful dogs - now I'm really glad I have girls - although they can't pass a pole without sniffing it a lot, at least I know they won't be mistaking me for the pole!

Another 'peeing' laugh, I was at a Toy Group ringside at one of our championship dog shows when one of the top winning chihuahuas of the time lifted his leg on one of our foremost group judges! (Albert Wight for those of you who know him). You should have seen the look on the judge's face!!

Our Tri only peed on one person's leg in almost 10 years, my sister in law!
"Good boy!"
Praise, praise, pat pat. "What a good boy!"
Is it the tri who's doing this?
If it is, another feather in the tri devil's hat!
