When they are with their littermates and any adults, during play when they bite to hard, the one getting bite will scream at the biter… and adults will strongly correct... this is when they learn "soft" bite... so sounds like your Rocco did not get this... This happens if removed from the adults and/or other littermates too early... So as stated, all play stops... also, I suggest that if the bite is too hard, scream/yell very loud and then stop all play

Yep, Natomas!

We usually go to movie theaters there in Natomas. It is a nice community. And it is not that bad a drive to many of the racing and coursing events that happen in this area if you ever want to come out. Though after this weekend it will be fall before they are around here since the temps normally start to really go up fast this time of year.

Other Sacramentans. I live in Woodland, so not too far from Sacramento.
I am active in racing and coursing my dogs and if you are interested in getting started let me know and I can let you know what events I will be attending.

The next lure coursing event in the Sacramento area is in Dixon on June 19 and 20. I am attending a wedding in Southern California that weekend so I won't be there but they are usually people there willing to help a beginner get started.
