Have you contact her breeder? Responsible breeders have contracts that state that if a dog is needed to be given up, it goes back to the breeder?

Also, have you contact BRAT? www.basenjirescue.org

  • Hi~ I sent you a personal message…

  • Hi, i'm looking to adopt a basenji that gets along with dogs and cat friendly. I love basenji that are red and white… If anyone knows of any that are in need of a home please contact me.

    Roxanne:)

  • Hi Roxanne, if you are still looking for a basenji, you may want to go to www.basenjirescue.org- a great group of volunteers who rescue and place basenjis. :)

We are in San Antonio and are looking for one or two Basenjis. We had our previous two Basenjis for 16 years. They were two girls and half sisters. What are their ages? Do they get along with indoor cats.

@Nemo: Unless you have some information on the people you sold the pups to, I'm not sure how you would find them. Even if they are on Sally's database, she doesn't keep track of the owners, just breeders (and that isn't given publicly on the site). You'd be pretty lucky if they were on a forum like this. Maybe post on some of the basenji-related FB groups or pages too? and unfortunately i do not :( I dont know either. I know i talked to sally already about it and she said the same thing. Also she didnt even know the breeder so it didnt help anyways. Ya i would be, thats all there is about it. lucky is all u can be to get information with nothing.ill have to try the FB groups and see what happens. Im not sure but thank you for the help! @curlytails: You could also try Dogster.com. What is dogster.com? ill check it out..i dont think ive ever heard of it before.

I wish I could take credit for this post, but it's just information that BRAT shares with folks who are either fostering or adoption a basenji. BRAT really does try to cover the bases with inof re new dogs and owners.

Yeah, I'm kinda interested in knowing what this means, just curious: "Unfortunatly I am at a point in my life where I can't provide him with the proper care that he deserves."
