Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
It was such a hard day, and I miss her and think about her all the time. I find myself randomly crying, but I know it was her time to go. She was very sick the last couple days, and it all happened so fast. She was peaceful and calm at the vets office the final day.
It so strange though, I feel like she's not really gone. Like she's going to come back, or I'm going to get home from work and she will be waiting. :(

Sarah i know what you mean when you say you feel like Meekas going to come back.
When we lost Max unexpectedly at the vets abour 3 weeks ago, i had to keep looking behind the settee for him although i knew realy he wouldn't be there. Perhaps we hope that if we look hard enough they will be, i dont know.
As you will know time does help but when we love our pets so much it hurts :(
