I love her head on pic 6. She looks great and very promising on stacking photos. When will be her show debut  :) ?

    Good luck with her :).

  • Oh, she is so sweet, I love pics in baby clothes:p and she seems to be really clever girl like she is stacking like a professional show star! I want another baby B, too:rolleyes:

  • what a pretty girl !!

  • She is a real beauty!!!!

    Lot of very great pics!!!

  • She looks lovely - puts me in the mood for another puppy…

I think she looks lovely. Her headshot is wonderful and I adore her outfit ( I think we might have the very same one in my daughter's romm..LOL). Her V is cool.

  • Congrats on the new baby…she is adorable! Love her neck marking...really cool!

  • She is a lovely pup… congrats!

  • What a cute face - congratulations. I think it's wonderful you can dress her up - they don't all put up with that! How adorable.

  • What a cute pup! Love her V! I think she will make you proud in the show ring :)

  • Thanks guys, for all the lovely comments :). I am very happy with this VERY cheeky little girl… She sure is keeping us on our toes, though :)

We had puppy show training last night, and we were both going soooooooo well, when suddenly the devil took over Vanda's body... In the middle of her triangle, she put on the brakes, stood up on her hind legs, and had her front legs up behind her ears, pawing at the air, and this movement made her do about 3-4 bunny hops, just to add to the effect :D:D. I was hoping the ground would swallow us up at that time... The rest of the class who were watching, had a great laugh at our expense :D:D. I am just praying that she wont do this in the poper ring, and that she saves this behavior for show training !!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Basenji's, gotta love them, or you would cry :o:o:o.

  • Forgot to add, her first show is about the 9th October…

She's very cute. Love the pictures. I absolutely love it when they stand up on their hind legs like that. I trained my puppy to do it on command. And I think they'll forgive you if she does it in the ring…it's so cute I'm sure the judge won't mind too much.

If that's the devil… then what causes the rest of all their behaviours!? ;)

    Don't forget she's just a (very young) puppy.. ;)

Ha, ha, ha…soooooo true!!! Don't worry, she probably WILL :D:D do it in the ring at some point.

And don't feel bad, mine did it at 8 mos. in the ring at the National last week :D (which can be seen by all when the DVD is available :) ) - all you can do is laugh at that point.

@Kipawa: I love the licking/kiss picture. You can tell your basenji's almost think of Ryan as "their property". Great coursing photos - once your b's catch the lure, what is the look on their face? Is it like "darn it, I thought I was chasing a rabbit", or is just having the lure good enough for them. Sending you some nice hot tea and unpollinated fresh air. Hope you are feeling better soon. The only thing they think is: GOT IT GOT IT GOT IT :D

@Lenora: Abbey likes running with the big dogs because it apparently never occurred to her that at 22 lbs. she isn't one of the big dogs! LOL they make up for it with attitude!
