Hi! welcome I would love to see pictures of your akita/basenji. We just got our Basenji back in March but I have had akitas for years and years. We also have a Shiba. Look forward to hearing stories and again lots of pictures.

Welcome to the forum! Regarding pictures, other forum members helped me when I was having trouble, basically if you upload them to albums on this forum you need to make sure they are not too large to start with. To put them in a post they need to uploaded to somewhere on the Web, (the Albums here on the Forum are fine) then you need to get the full IMG code of the picture and paste it into your posts between ![](& [img] and that should work.

Actually you don't need to upload them to another website – at the bottom of the "Quick Reply" box click on the "Go Advancaed" button then scroll down past the "Reply" box to the "Additional Options" and click on "Manage Attachemtns". Then you can upload directly from you own computer files and the photos will be inserted at the correct size. It's easy.
