    I can see why someone would think there was Terrier, but I'm not so sure about Basenji. (The only way to know for sure is to do a DNA test.) Both of your dogs look very similar. What breed, or mix, is the older one?

    Hi everyone, Thanks for all of your replies! Rex just had his first vet visit (first with me at least), and he was given a clean bill of health. The vet that I saw also agrees with a lot of you that he looks like a Min Pin more than a Basenji, but he is likely still mixed with something because he's a bit too big to be a pure Min Pin. I've looked at a few DNA Dog Breed tests online, and they seem to range in price and in quality. It seems like some of the cheaper (~$50) tests are fake, but they go all the way up to almost $250 for the higher quality ones. Do any of you have experience with these DNA tests / have a brand you found reputable? I'll be sure to post the results of any of the tests with this forum! Looks like she will be spending time at the Doggie resort or with friends while we go out with Chase (our Puggle who loves the water) [image: 47b7d831b3127cce855c4a01cfe700000026108CYs2jZmzbg] What I love about this photo is that she has this look on her face that makes me think that she is begging DH to save her and take her home. Poor Zahra. :( This trip today confirmed it for me - B's are not water dogs. :rolleyes: ChaseandZarhrasmom, we are taking Dash Canoeing in a couple weeks, where did you get the lifepreserver? Do they just have them at PetSmart?
