You should share a photo of your mix. We'd all love to meet her.

@abonnard Pee pads got me through in the end, she would pee every 20 mins for the first months, then 40 mins, then she suddenly went to being able to hold it for many hours. One of the best purchases I got before she arrived was a small carpet washer, saved my sanity. The cleanup is so key otherwise they go back to the same spot.

Welcome! I strongly agree that you should meet a B in person. They are very catlight in their movements, and Cyrus even grooms himself like a cat. Cyrus is very independent, but also very strong-willed. To further complicate matters, he is clever and good at gettting his own way. If you want a challenging yet loving breed, a B is a good choice. Once a B decides you are a worthwhile human being, they are very devoted but not in a needy way like some other breeds. Enjoy the forum!

I;m hoping to schedule the trainer to come to our home at least for an initial evaluation but I must be honest. We really do get carried away and at times we treat Champ like a real baby so I hope we can handle the training. I wanted to ask any of the B owner's out there….Is there anything I should look for in a trainer to make sure he is using the right methods and won't make matter's worse?
