My wife and adopted a 7 year old guy from BRAT this past December and he does the same thing. He's a retired puppy mill stud that never learned how to climb stairs until he was "freed." If he gets a running start, he can leap a step or two, but if he walks up to steps, he goes up backwards, just like in the video. He also has a phobia with certain door thresholds. But don't worry. He's a super fun little guy who just has a few little quirks. He can outrun his 12 year old B-sister in the yard, but she always beats him up the stairs.

Sorry I should have searched first.
The other crazy thing about the video is the thought of a Great Dane & a Basenji. How that basenji is going to terrorize & outwit that poor Great Dane!

NO! LOL, I just wish more viewed it so you can post a new one every day. We ALL need the smile that video brings!
Well they are at a doggycare facility, so I don't know if they LIVE together, but certainly they could lol. Poor Dane. Poor patient Dane. Larry said, well he's so big probably can't feel it. I said, IT IS INDENTING HIS STOMACH, of course he feels it, lol.

People who I know who have Great Danes tell me how lovable they are. My Aunt told me hers was afraid of their cat!
The short life span & big feeding bills are the downside.

I remember when I was a child there were two Great Danes at a store we used to frequent in summer. They were very patient with children, even the ones that tried to ride on their backs! I am sure a Basenji pup is less objectionable than a toddler.
