Chafuko is a really talented boy!
Thank you for posting the pictures - I love to see them all - Ryan is certainly growing!
Moving to Lapland next month, so went shopping today to get Voodoo some cloths to survive the cold winter there.
So, for when it get's a bit chilly:
When it get's colder:
And for when it starts to get really cold:
Love the Hurtta coats, Tillo has got two of them as well. Perfect fit
Voodoo looks like he isn't too sure he wants to move all the way to Lapland though
Best coats you can find. Got 2 of each also.
And no, Voodoo isn't to keen of moving at this moment. He doesn't really likes wearing the coats. But think he is gonna be glad he has them when we will be there this winter!
Awesome! Looks like a very nice fit on a very handsome model.
Don't forget to get him boots! In my experience, the feet are the most vulnerable to the cold.
Hope to find him nice boots over there. Have tried a few, but none did fit him well, and ordering some over the internet without trying them on is a bit of a risk. But a lot of mushers and sleddog kennels over there, so guess I will find him some nice boots there
oooh Lappland..that is chilly..I am from Sweden and that is our "siberia"..lol.
Wishing him best of luck..
He sure looks handsome in those nice warm coats. Boots are cute kind of look like mittens.

He is obviously well prepared for his move even if he's not keen to go.
Wow, what the well dressed basenji will be wearing this fall/winter! great!
Those look really nice… I like the raincoats too... anyone know if they are available in the US? Didn't look like it from the website. If they are not anyone willing to ship them to me if I wanted to order some? (Obviously I would pay the shipping)

Thanks, I don't wonder if someone from overseas might be able to get them and ship them a bit cheaper???
Nice coats indeed! I think I know why it's called Lapland. It's so cold you have to run laps to keep warm.
I got mine from http://www.dogsfriendoutdoor.com/en/clothing-and-shoes.html and I'm pretty sure they would be willing so ship anywhere. You can check the size you need on this size shart: http://www.dogsfriendoutdoor.com/uploads/sizemanual.pdf
I have a size 36 coat and a size 303 overall. Think the 36 coat will fit all male basenji's well, if you have a smaller female, a size 33 might fit better. But if you mail the webshop I mentioned with the measurements from the second link, they will check what size you need.
Ok, so I just googled Lapland, sorry dumb American terrible at geography, it looks crazy cold there. I will stop complaining about the 100 F degree days here in the southeast U.S..
The coats are beautiful - living here in Florida, we don't see the really good dog coats in the stores, even when the weather is cold (to us). Measuring and buying online is the only way to find the nice ones. They also sell booties here - I don't think it ever gets cold enough for them though.
I love how his body seems to get stiffer with every wardrobe change!!!!:):)
I have a fleece for my BRAT, Hunter. He is so tiny & lean. When I put it on him, I call it his turtle walk. He drags his back end. Don't know why, it's not too small or tight. He's just crazy & funny that way!!!!
