Those are such great pictures. Iโm so jealous because I still have to wait a couple weeks to get my pup. She will be so old (12 weeks)

I hope the time passes quickly for you. It is common practice in England for pups to go to new homes at 8 weeks.

Most breeds here place at 8 wks, except toy breeds. I know many basenji folks who place at 8, but many also do 10 to 12. I really think 8 wks is fine for homes with experience and other dogs, but it is the breeder's call.
Wow what a cutie! I love the rearing teeth one! What spunk!

He certainly seems a fiesty little chap, Debra

He is gorgeous :p! Malaika must be happy she has new playmate at home and so do Kwame :).

Yeah, Iโm waiting until 12 weeks for personal reasons, not because of the breeder. I hope I can get equally as cute of photos.

Very cute, congratulations on your new addition!
I have a very similar "rearing up" pic taken when Jigsaw met my shepherd mix, Sassy, for the first time. Must be a basenji greeting pose! -

What a cute little boy! Love the closeup picture - those little wrinkly faces are irresistable.
