    LOVED that Sharron! I sent the link on to my sister and threatened that I am going to teach her Chow some of the tricks - I like the one where the two GS walk beside the guys and sit on cue. Hmmm… I might be able to get my cat Barney to do that. He's the one that already shakes a paw for a treat.

    @Maya: Oh, i didnt know Sue and Jeff weren't coming over, last time i spoke to Sue (just before Westminster) everything was still on for them coming to Crufts. That is such a shame as i was really looking forward to meeting them both, but especially to thanking Sue in person for being the one who made it possible for me to have Maya! :D And i just adore Dunkin so i was really wanting to have a look at him in person… Maybe next year! I have a friend who was hoping to bring her pug over from Malta but wasnt able to because of the expense of bringing her into the country... I think JUST to get her into the UK was about ?1500... Thats crazy and a real shame. Yes, they decided after Westminster that the flight cost was just too high for this year, they are planning on next year. Works out for me, however since I am flying out to see Jeff that weekend

    What's always so sad to me is lots of same people will go back out in a year more or less and get another puppy. Ashley said the other day to bad when you get a animal of any kind youh ave to give your S.S.# and if you give back the dog what ever you have to give your S.S.# again then when this person goes after another animal it will come back what they have done and no animal. I know we do not have a perfect world.. Dreams do come true. Rita Jean

    @Schouiffy: The only older Dog organization en Suisse I have heard of is http://www.oasis-des-veterans.com but I dont know if she matches up older dogs with older ppl - she does adopt them out though. =) made my heart melt, and my eyes get a bit watery - so I had to "godparent" a dog. That's a good idea to become a godmother, I'll check the site; I felt like you when a saw a program on TV, as the person who looks after older dogs lets elderly people adopt them and if they die, she takes the dogs back! All the dogs were crippled, half blind, no teeth, etc,etc, I was nearly in tears at the end of the programme, getting too sentimental I think! Saying that, the dogs looked much happier than a lot of elderly people in old people's homes!
