    A quick google search yielded this site: www.eurobreeders.com. Search breeds, then B, then look for Basenji. There where many breeders that popped up including a couple in Italy, which isn’t too far I suppose. I have no idea about Basenji breeding in Europe though. Do your homework.

    @buzz-carmenator I have sent everyone who mailed me a list of Breed Clubs in the UK with their secretaries email addresses and also that of the Basenji Rescue co-ordinator. BUT - people who want a puppy are advised to read a great deal up about them, including the fact that, in the Northern Hemisphere, at least 95% of litters are born November / December ish. So puppies are unlikely to be available until late February next year at the earliest. Basenji ladies are once-a-year girls, coming into season September / October ish for the most part. Several of the people I have referred to individual breeders have already visited with them and, if considered suitable, have been put on lists for the next litter. However some people have decided that, on closer inspection, a Basenji is not for them and others have visits pending. Have a good read of all the articles, including the Zande Put-Off on my website (see signature block) and then email me privately.

    @Janneke: I would just LOVE LOVE LOVE to add a Basenji, but I study.. I would like to have some time off when the new pup is here, so it should come here like.. NOW (my vacation of 9 weeks just started :D).. Haha.. As we all now, B's get puppies when I'm in the middle of my 'school year'.. Ugh.. I have some nice breeders on my list :D ;) Your Shmi is also from Sweden right? Tillo is as well :) But we are going very 'off topic' in Fibula's thead. Sorry for that Fibula!!     I think they're trying to look legit! Knowing that most "ethical" breeders ask a good amount for our dogs (course mind you we have a lot of money stuck into our dogs prior to the "sale" price). And the fact that we're not into dogs to make money.
