But you put in the time and effort to MAKE a change. That's what good owners are about. 🙂 You can also stuff a kong with a little peanut butter, or cream cheese or even canned food and put in freezer. Then the dog sitter has a long lasting treat to give him when putting him back in. 🙂

That's amazing. It shows you what can be done.
-
Love it! I've never seen a basenji so obedient for so long!
-
That's great! My girl does the part where she crosses between your legs, but usually with a leash attached! :o
-
LMAO that was great!!!

Wow - I was impressed with both videos. I bet training the Retreiver was far easier than to the Basenji too. I didn't expect to see a B hanging on to attention that long.

hahahahahha i could not IMAGINE rocky doing something like that..

My dogs would have been off & running- somewhere else.
-
WOW!!! That's awesome There's someone in our Basenji club that is into teaching "Freestyle"
-
That was very cute! A couple of my friends do freestyle (not with Basenjis!) They were trying to get me to teach Blondie a routine to 'Walk Like An Egyptian' I think it would be a really fun sport…but I HATE dancing...so I don't think it is for me
On another note...Hillbilly Rock and Roll? Can anybody think of a dog that is LESS of a hillbilly than a basenji? (No offense to any Hillbillies reading this...love our Appalachian friends...and I think I MIGHT be a red neck, according to Jeff Foxworthy...I DO like NASCAR!) At the beginning of the routine the dog is looking at the woman like, 'are you kidding me? You want me to do this in public?' hee, hee...very fun though!

Absolutely awesome. I really am impressed at how long the dog lasted.

Love it. I had seen the golden video a couple years ago and though. well of course a golden would be willing to learn that. Amazing that a Basenji actually decided it was worth while to learn that
