  • @yularamia:

    Hi,
I'm Mia in Sweden and the happy owner of Asuma and Angali. I have 5 basenjis and they are Ch Reveille Thymeshare To Yulara, Ch Yulara Fulared Fagus, Ch Yulara Gwai Gulli-Maya, Ch Yulara Itichika and Yulara Jarrah. I breed together with my sister Monica Massih and you can visit us and see pictures from DR Congo on www.yulara.se

How wonderful! Such beautiful dogs - not just the new puppies but the others also. We all really look forward to seeing more pictures and hearing more about them as they grow up.

  • Wow - I just looked at your posted website - very nice pictures. Wish I could read Swedish. (myself being half Swede) Am I right to assume that 2 of the 6 pups pictured are those that Basenji Boy is caring for today? I spied the black and tan tri after all.

Looks like a trip of a life time. Glad it was a success. And welcome to the Basenji Forums.

  • Welcome to the Forum…the trip to the DRC looks amazing, and thank you for going and bringing back native Basenjis! Can't wait 'til you post the translation for your trip on your site. :)

And to answer Duke's question, yes, the two that are at Basenji Park are two from this trip and will be going to Sweden.

Hi Mia (and Monica)! So nice to "see" you here. I am so glad your trip to Africa was successful and safe.

Welcome Bryan. My husband and I met you last year at the EBC Specialty (my husband uses a wheelchair). At that time, we were basenji-less. We now have Kipawa, our 11 month old companion dog, that we were able to get from Therese and Kevin Leimback. He's our pride and joy. :)

That was a great story. My 12 year old Welsh Corgi did the same thing a couple of years ago. The vet watched her but she wasn't sick. Didn't learn from experience either - thankfully I did. I just recently "rescued" a Basenji from a puppy mill. Her name is Glory - my 6 year old Granddaughter really liked the name. Glory is wonderful but I have never seen a puppy clutter up a room as fast as she can. My 4 year old Corgi hides under the computer desk when Glory goes on one of her "rampages."
