@naz-roseberry I think it will work out well with Cutlers "Grandma & Grandpa" lol. I think that the move to a new neighborhood with 10 times the kids upset Cutler bcoz it was 10 times more noise than he was used to. Plus, I think some kids teased Cutler when you weren't right there with him & it was just too much for him noise wise & the teasing just flat pissed him off! At least Cutler is still in the family! He knows the people he's going to live with & he'll be able to see his before family when you all go to visit! I couldn't imagine how hard it would be to have to put him down just because he wasn't able to adjust to the new neighborhood. I'm really happy that you don't have to go thru that too. Hopefully, all's well that ends well ~ right? Take Care! Nancy Berry
Male Basenji needs Female friend
-
I am looking for female basenji as friend for my 1 year old male basenji. would be interested in healthy show prospect, although might be interested in puppy. My male is a very typical brindle male, and is spooled rotten!! But he need a friend that he can run and play with.

Have you thought about rescue? There are a lot of dogs out there needing good homes
-
Is your male show quality?
-
I am planning to show him this coming year, He has everything that i could want in a Basenji, But I don't know what the judges would think of him! I have a trainer that is going to work with him and I over the next few months. He does have some great gene's. I can only hope he does well, It really doesn't mean a great deal to me because he has so many great traits and is a delight to be around.

I would love to see a photo.
I don't breed or show, but I love going to dog shows and watching the b's.
I know how hard breeders work to find a basenji that shows all the traits our beloved breed is suspose to have.
Lots of work and love going into breeding litter..
I admire you all. -

GlennWhat about his breeder? And what is his pedigree?
-
Might just be my computer skills, but the pics are very, very tiny.
-
To my untrained eye, he is lovely.
Who is the breeder again??? -
I think it is my computer skill that are lacking, I have not mastered the picture thing on the computer yet! But am learning,, Maybe!! Solomon was breed Asil's Basenji's, Sire walkabout by eldorado, dame virtuous victoria!
I am giong to try pictures once again!

Have you talked to his breeder about showing? Or did they recommend a handler for you? He is cute, looks like he is still maturing
-
Your boy looks pretty nice. I think you should take a few handling classes and enter a few shows. You may find showing to be a really fun hobby.
