Fortunately for me I'm keeping my dog. After much discussion and agreement we've decided to keep him. He's much calmer and easier to live with now he's 7m.

My name is Rachel and I've owned 2 basenjis for the past few years with an ex of mineā¦ after I moved to Chicago they stayed with the ex and now I'm looking for one to call my own! Preferrably one a little older than a puppy. I have experience training basenjis and having them in my home and I do work from home so I'll be there plenty for walks and playtime. If anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated! Thanks!

the BRAT web site has an 8 yr old girl in IL that sounds very promising. 8 is still quite young in a basenji.

I am looking to find a home for my basenji. Her name is Noel and she is 3 years old. She is a very good girl, lots of energy and very sweet. She knows basic commands. She just needs more time than I can give her. My recently had to take on my 6 month old granddaughter so Noel ends up spending tons of time in her crate.
