His previous owners were too busy to care for him so he came into our rescue. He has been neutered and fully vaccinated. He is a wonderful dog, but needs to have an owner who fully understands the breed. They are different and need the right kind of home. He gets along great with dogs after a proper introduction. He's just a fun, unique dog capable of making you laugh everyday. Gunnar has been housed in a private rescue and requires a $100 adoption fee. This fee will go to the other dogs and cats that enter our rescue. Don't pass up a chance to take Gunnar home! He deserves to have a family of his own.     @Patty: Hi everyone, just to close this mystery- the ladies involved disappeared, so to speak- they don't answer phone calls or emails, and while we were supposed to meet on Saturday, neither one answered their phones to coordinate anything. I found the exact picture that they used on Craig's list on puppyfinder.com. Some things that seem too good to be true are. Creepy! Good thing you had your wits about you and that you're safe.

    Thanks Jason, some puppymill dogs aren't so damaged, more like byb dogs, but some are truely in hell. The reports of folks who have had these type of b's and watched them grow to even a dog who will come for a pet…well, its something to read. I can only imagine the joy in the foster folks hearts when they see a dog so damaged turn around...even just for a little bit. Every dog we get from these "bad" breeders and puppymillers is a dog who will not add to the stories we all have, rescue for sure, but the owners who buy these dogs..not realizing what they are getting..... what a nightmare they end up with, temperment and heath wise... well I am speaking to the educated here I do know.
