    Anyone know if/how many of these puppies might be around still? The website listed 6 and shows 1 still available. I also read somewhere (another thread or forum, can't remember) that there may have been 2 litters for a total of ~12 puppies, but the site has only listed 6. Would love to hear from anyone who may have taken the time to visit the puppies or might have more info. We've reached out directly as well and are awaiting further info. EDIT: Nevermind, we found that the CO rescue isn't willing to send puppies this far east. We have found a pup elsewhere from a breeder.

    Hi all. All the puppies have gone to their new homes. The last one to leave was the red male, King. He went Thursday to leve in CA. All are now making new slaves. Everyone has good things to say about them. As we have said the litter was smart and loving. We will miss them, but they all needed to be in their own homes. The day King left, and we got all of our livingroom back my guys found their spots and slept the rest of the afternoon away. They didn't miss the pups at all! They even helped pack they bags. His previous owners were too busy to care for him so he came into our rescue. He has been neutered and fully vaccinated. He is a wonderful dog, but needs to have an owner who fully understands the breed. They are different and need the right kind of home. He gets along great with dogs after a proper introduction. He's just a fun, unique dog capable of making you laugh everyday. Gunnar has been housed in a private rescue and requires a $100 adoption fee. This fee will go to the other dogs and cats that enter our rescue. Don't pass up a chance to take Gunnar home! He deserves to have a family of his own.     Thanks Jason, some puppymill dogs aren't so damaged, more like byb dogs, but some are truely in hell. The reports of folks who have had these type of b's and watched them grow to even a dog who will come for a pet…well, its something to read. I can only imagine the joy in the foster folks hearts when they see a dog so damaged turn around...even just for a little bit. Every dog we get from these "bad" breeders and puppymillers is a dog who will not add to the stories we all have, rescue for sure, but the owners who buy these dogs..not realizing what they are getting..... what a nightmare they end up with, temperment and heath wise... well I am speaking to the educated here I do know.

    @luvsmy2bs: REally? You dont think the markings and tail are B like? I don't see Basenji; never would have occurred to me to list it that way. BUT, it is an adorable pup and I hope it finds a good forever home ASAP.
